We have some of the most passionate, skilled and talented people in the industry, each bringing a unique background and area of expertise in planning, producing and managing events.
Rebecca Smith
Rebecca began her career in event management in 2003 in the role of Events Manager at Consumer Affairs Victoria. She then moved to the Department of Infrastructure (later becoming the Department of Transport) in the role of Events and Sponsorship Manager.
With over 20 years’ experience, Rebecca launched Sweet Mango Consulting in July 2013.
Rebecca and her team manage corporate conferences, industry events, corporate team building days, client networking events, awards ceremonies and metropolitan and regional stakeholder and community engagement events.
Lisa Hook
A very down to earth and astute professional, Lisa has been with the company since 2015. Lisa comes from a marketing background and has a broad mix of experience predominately in event management, delivery of national/international conferences, administration, staff and office management, recruitment and customer service.
Sally Gittus
Sally manages the catering and styling arm of SMC. Sally worked in catering for five years both independently and for a reputable catering company before joining our team to cater for our events. As well as being an amazing cook, Sally has an eye for colour and furnishings and can work with you to put together a detailed brief to bring your event to life.
